THE BOOKS
Two for One...a novel about having choices
Danielle Edwards leads a very fulfilling life. She has a fabulous and wealthy boyfriend, a dynamic career in international finance, and a mind-blowing sex life. But despite all this, something is still missing.
Katie Shaw, a stunning Nebraska native, is single-handedly trying to solve the Big Apple's homelessness crisis. From the moment Danielle and Katie first meet to discuss a business venture between their employers, the mutual attraction between the two ladies is palpable. Yet under the circumstances they cannot do anything about it.
Over time, Danielle begins to feel trapped. Despite how much she adores her boyfriend Max, Danielle is not sure she can give up the fairer sex forever. But one day Max surprises her with an interesting offer.
Suddenly, three New Yorkers find themselves in a modern day love triangle that sees Danielle able to indulge all her passions, and Max and Katie just trying to keep from going crazy.
Two for One--Relatively Speaking
That unlikely trio from “Two for One—a novel about having choices” is back in this hilarious follow-up novel!
Bank president Danielle Edwards is a thirty-something woman who first fell in love some years back with novelist Max Bland, and then later with Katie Shaw, a philanthropic lesbian. These three Americans now live together in London, England with Danielle dividing her time between the man whom she considers her husband and the woman whom she considers her wife. With this unique domestic arrangement one would think Danielle, Katie and Max have enough on their plates already; but life is known for throwing us all curveballs and soon these three have to contend with Danielle’s mother arriving from the States unexpectedly and suddenly declaring that she is gay; an eco-tourism trip to Antarctica; a volcanic eruption, Max starring in a reality TV show and a sister Danielle never knew she had!
Throughout, the book is richly populated with an assortment of oddball supporting characters as well as humorous and thought-provoking insights into the relationships between men and women…and between women and women.
